To be successful as an Environment Architect you should have experience with:

- Good understanding on OpenShift Platform and other Cloud Platform Technology (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Log parsing skills
- Hands-on experience is a must in at least one or more technical skills under any of the technology platforms as below: (Technologies & tools are given below are for example purpose only)
- Mainframe - COBOL, IMS, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, TWS, File-Aid, REXX
- Open Systems and tools - Java, Jenkins, Web-services, APIs, Service Virtualization
- Mid-Tier technology - MQ, WebSphere, UNIX, API 3rd party hosting platforms
- Data warehouse - ETL, Informatica, Ab-initio, Oracle, Hadoop
- Good knowledge of design/build/support activities in Cloud - OpenShift infrastructure.
- Should have experience of CI/CD pipeline support for DevOps team
- Experience on provisioning Infrastructure in Physical, Virtual and Cloud environments (OpenShift Cloud)
- Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals for Change & Release Management
- Hands on experience working on WAS, RIT and aPaaS env
- Experience with Jenkins/Nolio, Git/Stash
- Good knowledge on VmWare Virtualization
- Experience in deployment tools like Jenkins, Bladelogic etc

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
