**Job Title**: Subject Matter Expert (Coding)

**Location**: Pune / Remote

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and review curriculum content for K-12 technology courses, ensuring alignment with educational standards and the latest industry trends.
- Create projects, lesson plans and assessments that effectively teach coding and programming concepts to students at various grade levels.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and educators to develop interactive and engaging content.
- Create content on coding languages that may include Java, Python, C, C++, JS, and Database management.
- Conduct research on curriculum standards and ensure alignment with current educational frameworks and benchmarks.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into the curriculum where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum materials based on feedback from educators and students.
- Assist in training educators on the effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Utilize advanced Excel and other database management tools to analyze and manage curriculum data effectively.

**Key Requirements**:
**Must have**:

- Strong proficiency in coding languages: Java, C, Python, JavaScript and Database management.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to break down complex concepts for young learners.
- Experience in educational content creation, with a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

**Good to have**:

- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and other database management tools.
- Familiarity or experience with additional programming languages and technologies such as C++, Node.js and React is a plus.
- Experience with AI ML projects.
- A deep understanding of K-12 educational frameworks and standards is an advantage.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of computer science.
- Patience and empathy in creating content for young learners to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

**Qualifications**:
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in computer science or IT engineering (BE/B.Tech.) or a related field.

Prior experience in curriculum development or educational content creation is preferred.

Experience of teaching or working with K-12 students is a plus.
