**Siteplug** founded in 2015, is a business unit owned and operated by Affinity, an advertising technology holding company. SitePlug drives digital transactions for brands by correcting user navigation errors globally, thereby solving a marketer’s problem.
- Users make spelling errors while entering website. These errors can drive users off course, and they could end up on a competitor brand’s website or get infected with viruses by look-alike websites. Our proprietary tech auto-corrects these errors and redirects users safely to where they really intended to go in the first place. Our tech eliminates the friction brands face in attracting high intent consumers (who have been influenced by the brands communication on TV, Radio, Outdoor, Print, etc.)
- Siteplug is trusted by over 1,000 brands globally for whom we are bringing back transaction’s worth $100Mn annually, which could have been potentially lost to competing brands. Siteplug’s vision is to enhance safer and faster browsing for internet users globally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design stable, reliable and effective databases
- Optimize and maintain legacy systems
- Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
- Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
- Gather user requirements and identify new features
- Develop technical and training manuals
- Provide data management support to users
- Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
- Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols
- Strong SQL and MySQL expertise must be able to write a complex & dynamic queries.
- Writing optimized SQL Queries (MySQL)
- Database tuning experience. Help us make our database faster by running diagnostics and doing query performance tuning.
- Ability to work in an agile environment: Can address bugs with QA, plan schemas with engineering and respond quickly to other business needs.
- Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues and experience with best practices around database operations.
- Good understanding on DB (MYSQL) Function, Procedure, trigger, Event, Query Optimization, DB Performance tuning, DB Performance monitoring.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 proven work experience as a Database developer
- Hands on experience with SQL
- Familiarity working with.Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and Oracle
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- Testing and validating work produced as part of the development process.
- Deep understanding of fundamental database design and architecture
- Generate and test performance data
- Monitor system performance and tuning of database queries
- Develop & maintain a high performing, secure, scalable database design in MySQL
- Maintain data warehousing processes and create reporting.
- Documenting features, technical specifications & infrastructure requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholdersAn ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
