**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review medical records and clinical documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- **Understand E&M, Surgery and procedure coding for IN/OUT patient practices**:

- E&M, Out/InPatient coding, Urgent Care, Interventional Cardiology.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines, payer policies, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, billing teams, and auditors to clarify information and ensure coding accuracy.
- Meet or exceed daily/weekly productivity and quality targets set by the organization.
- Identify and report coding issues, trends, and potential compliance risks.
- Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective actions when required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have graduation (fields like Life Sciences, Allied Health, or any related field.)
- Good to have Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on medical coding experience.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement systems and payer rules.
- Proficient in using coding software and MS Office tools.

**Skills Required**:

- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards.
- **Applicant should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in E/M & Procedure coding.**
