Role: Van Sale Driver

Role Definition

The Van Sale Driver is the one who plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of a van and following designated routes and scheduling transportation of goods instructed by the salesman. You will be responsible for operating a van adhering to safety regulations and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition. Your ability to navigate through traffic, follow routes, and deliver items promptly and safely will be essential for this role.

1: Adhere to traffic rules, regulations, and company policies while driving.

2: Make sure to carry a valid driving license/permit and medical fitness certificate at all times during the route with the van.

3: Maintain a professional appearance with a mandatory khaki uniform as per the designation.

4: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its optimal condition

5: Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate authorities and supervisor.

6: Keep the vehicle clean and orderly, both inside and outside, maintaining a presentable appearance.

7: check the proper stock of the van as per the stock report and maintain adequate minimum van stock.

Task &
Activities
- Safely operate the van, and follow traffic rules and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition. Perform basic maintenance checks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, etc.
- Ensure goods are checked and confirmed as per the stock report before the exit from the office.
- Support the salesman in delivering items from the van as per his instructions.
- Ensure the vehicle key is handed over to the company-approved representative.
- Report any mechanical issues, damages, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate authorities and supervisor promptly.
- Be prepared to handle emergency situations, such as accidents or breakdowns, and follow appropriate procedures for assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and stock maintenance report.
- Make sure all vehicle documents/vehicle permits are safely kept in the vehicle
- Present the right documentation at the right time while inspections or at check posts.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 per month
