HIPAA and CCNA Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Trainer with a dual specialization in HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) networking. This unique role requires an individual who can effectively deliver comprehensive training programs in both critical areas, catering to diverse audiences, from healthcare professionals to aspiring network engineers.

**Responsibilities**:
**I. HIPAA Training**:

- **Curriculum Development**: Design and develop engaging and up-to-date HIPAA training materials, including presentations, case studies, quizzes, and practical exercises, in accordance with the latest HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules.
- **Training Delivery**: Conduct interactive and informative training sessions for healthcare professionals, administrative staff, IT personnel, and other relevant stakeholders on HIPAA regulations, best practices for protected health information (PHI) handling, data security, and breach prevention.
- **Compliance Guidance**: Provide clear and concise explanations of complex HIPAA concepts, ensuring participants understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining patient privacy and data security.
- **Risk Awareness**: Educate participants on potential risks, vulnerabilities, and the consequences of HIPAA non-compliance, including legal and financial implications.
- **Adaptability**: Tailor training content to specific organizational needs and the Indian regulatory landscape where applicable (e.g., in relation to data protection laws in India that may intersect with international standards like HIPAA).
- **Evaluation**: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and evaluations to ensure knowledge retention and behavioral changes.

**II. CCNA Training**:

- **Curriculum Development**: Develop and update comprehensive CCNA training modules, lab exercises, and practical scenarios covering all CCNA exam objectives (e.g., network fundamentals, IP connectivity, IP services, security fundamentals, automation, and programmability).
- **Training Delivery**: Deliver engaging and hands-on training sessions for individuals pursuing CCNA certification, from beginners to those seeking to enhance their networking skills.
- **Exam Preparation**: Guide and support students in their CCNA exam preparation, providing practice tests, study tips, and addressing their queries.
- **Technology Updates**: Stay abreast of the latest Cisco technologies, networking trends, and CCNA exam updates, integrating them into the training curriculum.
- **Lab Management**: Maintain and manage networking lab equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition for training purposes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- **HIPAA Expertise**:

- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules.
- Prior experience in a HIPAA compliance role or delivering HIPAA training.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS), Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP), or similar, are highly desirable.
- **CCNA Expertise**:

- **Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is mandatory.**:

- Additional Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a significant advantage.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and network security devices.
- **Training Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in delivering technical training, preferably in IT networking or healthcare compliance.
- Proven experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Experience with virtual training platforms and e-learning tools.
- **Skills**:

- Exceptional presentation, public speaking, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical and regulatory concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and empowering others.
- Familiarity with data protection laws in India (e.g., Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) is a plus, especially when discussing data privacy in a broader context.
