**Roles and Responsibility**
- CONSULTANT - DEVOPS SERVICES (Infrastructure)

VMware Cloud Director Availability (VCDA) SME This role is responsible for providing protection and migration for VMware Cloud Director vApps and virtual machines migration to Azure VMware Solution with Cloud Director service.

Experience with:

- VMware CDA in multiple data centers
- 50+ nodes
- Must be able to understand and articulate experience with:

- Implementing and maintaining VCDA
- General overview from a vCD resource planning perspective
- vCD tenant storage
- vCD organization structure
- Ability to review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions. 5 to 10 years of VMWare ESXi, vSphere, VMware Cloud Director, Linux and Cloud Foundation.
- Working knowledge and experience with vSAN and NSX-T.
- Knowledge of networking, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common internet services/protocols.
- Good Analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and an effective team player.
- Strong familiarity and use of industry compliance and security standards.
- Function as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to manage our Cloud Virtualization platform connectivity stacks within our Private Cloud.
- Participate in design and feedback workshops to improve our services and quality of work while optimizing the virtual infrastructure and vDC is in accordance with security policies and guidelines.
- Assist in solving issues with the Cloud services & platform related to network connectivity.
- Build Cloud platforms integrating connectivity between architectures & systems. Participate in design reviews and deliver on those designs.
- Continuous involvement in functions and processes including performance and capacity management, version management and security vulnerability management and review.
- Certified VCP-DCV, VCP-NV and VCIX-DCV plus point.
