**Job Profile**

**Main Responsibilities Include**:

- Managing the environment team deployed at the project office.
- Reviewing EIA Reports, including policy and preparation of revised reports in accordance with JICA, EIA, and SIA guidelines if required.
- Reviewing EIA procedures taken by DMRC and proposing necessary suggestions in accordance with JICA guidelines if necessary.
- Preparing draft environment monitoring plans and monitoring mechanism plans in accordance with JICA guidelines if required.
- Assisting JICA’s external environment impact assessment committee.
- Implementing DMRC’s environment monitoring at construction sites in accordance with conditions of contract for safety, health, and environment.
- Analyzing, approving cost implications, and implementing any new directions issued by any statutory authority from time to time.
- Facilitating with prominent and competent manufacturers and suppliers.
- A Graduate degree in Engineering/Environmental Science; Masters/PG Diploma in a relevant domain, and about 30 years of experience in metro/rail/transport/large infrastructure projects in Environmental Management.
- 5 years of International Experience.

**Minimum Qualification**:

- Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engineering; 15 years in metro/rail/transport/large infrastructure projects in Environmental Management.
- Industry: Metro Rail.
- Functional Area: Environment.
