Social Studies Teacher

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching**:

- Teach Social Studies (History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics) to students in classes 6-10, adhering to the prescribed curriculum and syllabus.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that help students understand the interconnection between social, cultural, economic, and political concepts.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, multimedia presentations, and group activities, to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create and maintain a conducive and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Handle student behavior and ensure that students respect classroom rules and guidelines.
- **Assessment & Evaluation**:

- Design, conduct, and evaluate assessments such as quizzes, assignments, projects, and tests to monitor student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' work, helping them improve their understanding of social studies concepts.
- Maintain detailed records of students' academic performance and provide regular updates to parents and school management.
- **Individual Attention**:

- Develop personalized learning plans for students needing special attention.
- **Parent-Teacher Communication**:

- Regularly communicate with parents regarding students’ academic performance, behavior, and overall development.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss progress and address concerns.
- **Co-Curricular Activities**:

- Encourage students to engage in social studies-related extracurricular activities, such as debates, model United Nations (MUN), social service projects, and field trips.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on new teaching methodologies, educational trends, and curriculum changes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
