**ETL Testing**

**Role Description**
- **Understanding** the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
- Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases
- Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
- Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
- Collaborating with development teams on testing requirements and implementation details
- Validating ideas by performing experiments and analyzing the results.

**Technology Stack**
- RESTful APIs
- Cloud based technologies (private/public)
- CI tools like Jenkins.
- HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc), data formats (XML, JSON, YAML) and data stores (NoSQL/SQL)
- TestNG, Junit & Cucumber
- Java, Python, PySpark, Pandas, Data frames, Snowflake.

**Required Experience**
- Excellent designing and programming skills.
- Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools.
- Exposure to Behaviour Driven Development and experience in programming and testing

**Experience of**
- 2+ Years experience on Big Data Testing. Must have hands on experience with PySpark.
- Should have good exposure on either Pandas or data frames.
- Working experience on Cloud Services like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud is required.
- 5+ years experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, and designing test architecture
- 4+ years of experience with working in a Agile environment and CI/CD driven testing culture
- The ability to keep current with the constantly changing technology industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Good to have**
- Prior success as an individual QA Automation Engineer embedded within a product team
- Proficiency in writing clean, modular code using proven design patterns
- Snowflake, AWS S3 Bucket and Data bricks experience.
