Improve automation and productivity of backups through scripting enhancements. Troubleshoot and resolve missed and failed **Avamar **backups. Interface with vendors for escalation of issues Processing of tapes for offsite storage Update **Avamar **policies and procedures. Configuring backup with cloud storage as **AWS S3 Buckets **, **Azure Blob Storage. **Good Experience with **EMC Networker **backup configurations and administration

Good skills on performance optimization.

Solving complicated Hardware cases and Liaising with Hardware Vendor/ **Dell EMC Avamar **support

Advanced trouble shooting skills and identify the severity of the issue, Ability to Resolving issues quickly to account/customer satisfaction and Prepare RCA

Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis.

Knowledge of **HPE Tape libraries, StoreOnce, DELL EMC Data Domain **are Added Advantage

Knowledge of **Microfocus DP, Veeam Backup, Veritas Netbackup **are Added Advantage

Certifications in relevant technologies

**Skills mandatory**:
1. 9 to 12 years of support experience as backup administrator with **Avamar **Backup Application

2. System administration skills on UNIX/Windows

3. Good Knowledge on **HPE **StoreOnce **and **EMC Data Domain**

4. Knowledge of **Tape drives, libraries **and **VTL’s**

5 **. **Good knowledge in configuring backups with cloud storage as **AWS S3 Buckets **, **Azure Blob Storage**

6. Experience in **Dell EMC networker **is must.

7. Basic **cloud **knowledge is must - **AWS, MS Azure & Google Cloud**

8. Good written and verbal communication skills
