Qualifications:

- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of experience working on credit cards & payment projects as solution architect
- Payment and Credit Card domain knowledge is highly desirable
- Experience in working on a large-scale project as solution architect
- Working experience adopting Agile methodology

Technical / Functional Proficiency:

- Must have Technical / Solution Architect experience
- Experience working in Banking industry (CARD processing is an added advantage)
- Application development experience in RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Hands on with Java & Spring Framework
- Prior experience with Container (Docker) and Kubernetes
- Good understanding on API Gateway (IBM Datapower or Apigee), Oauth & Swagger/OpenAPI specification
- Familiar with architectural patterns - Microservices, event-driven (Solace or Kafka), CQRS
- Understand Non-Functional Requirements (HA, Performance, Scalability, Security) and design solution accordingly
- Collaborate with Application team, Business Analysts, Product owners and Project managers to understand Business requirement
- Design solution covering both Function and Non-Functional requirements
- Document the solution in both descriptive and diagram form (Logical Architecture, UML Sequence diagram, Use Case diagram.)
- Analyse industry trends & recommend product/solution. If required, perform Proof of Concept
- Adopt Enterprise Architect governance process
- Additional Knowledge on CI/CD & DevOps
- Hands on with Cache like Redis or Gemfire
- AWS or GCP or Azure Architect Certificate
- Advanced knowledge and experience of SDLC.
- Assume role in Planview (IT project portfolio management software) to create projects, generate Planview clocking hours, progress projects etc.
- Ensure that projects are allocated to the project team and monitor the clocking of time by different teams working on the project throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Provide progress and overall project status, including risk management plans, issue resolution approach, and overall actions and decisions needed by the stakeholders
- Prepare monthly budget figures for review with senior management and ensure that budget is in control.
- Ensure that weekly business critical management projects are submitted on time by all the project managers.
- Review and approve change requests raised in ServiceNow, to ensure necessary due diligence has been performed. This includes adhoc patches/fixes raised by production support team.
- Raise technology requests such as functional id access, file transfer via NDM node, key requests, etc. in a timely manner to ensure no delay to project delivery.
- Understand Citi's processes and raise necessary forms for cross border data clearance, risk acceptance, management of information security issues and corrective action plans, etc.
- Address queries/requests from regulators, auditors, or any of Citi's internal governance body.

Leadership Skills:

- A good understanding of the credit card industry and functions of HSM and different types of keys.
- Requires Strong Stakeholder Management experience to drive discussions between Business, Solutions, Operations and Application Teams.
