Roles and Responsibilities of an Area Sales Manager in a Pharmaceutical Company

1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans, conduct market analysis, and set targets.

2. Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate sales reps.

3. Customer Relationships: Build relationships and gather feedback from key customers.

4. Sales Execution: Conduct field visits, promote products, and deliver presentations.

5. Reporting: Prepare sales reports and analyze data.

6. Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain records.

7. Budget Management: Manage and allocate the sales budget, control expenses.

8. Market Development: Plan product launches and organize promotional activities.
