The counter sales role is crucial in ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and driving sales growth. Here are the key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

1. Handle Cash Counter and Billing: Accurately process customer orders and handle cash transactions.

2. Promote New Menu Items: Offer tastings and promote new menu items to increase customer interest and sales.

3. Collect Customer Feedback: Gather feedback and resolve minor concerns immediately to ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Maintain Grooming and Hygiene Practices: Ensure all staff follow proper grooming and hygiene practices, including uniforms, gloves, and caps.

5. Conduct Daily Checks: Conduct daily checks on food safety, storage conditions, cleanliness, and expiry dates.

6. Maintain Checklists and Logs: Maintain checklists and logs related to cleaning, food quality, and safety compliance.

7. Supervise Outlet Readiness: Supervise outlet readiness and service quality throughout the shift.

8. Handle Dishwashing and Sanitizing: Handle dishwashing and sanitizing of all service tools, including scoopers, blenders, and glasses.

9. Maintain Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize counters, shelves, waste bins, and floor areas, and maintain cleaning logs.

10. Assist in Stock Arrangement: Assist in stock arrangement and pest control practices.

11. Ensure Back-of-House Safety: Ensure back-of-house areas are neat, organized, and safe for operations.

12. Teamwork: Be flexible to work in other roles during heavy business hours, demonstrating teamwork and adaptability.
