**Supporting Actions**
**Fire Fighting System Designing**
- To develop robust and responsive fire fighting system
- To work out the fire fighting equipment requirement as per fire load of the plant.
- To develop Fire Fighting SOPs and work instructions suitable to meet all the contingencies.
- To recommend suitable firefighting equipment’s and manpower required to meet the requirement.
- To assist DH in development of rescue mechanism, selection and training of rescue team and associated equipment.
**Fire Fighting System Management**
- Manage timely demonstration of fire fighting system to prevent/ minimize losses due to fire
- Manage timely maintenance of Fire Fighting equipment and scheduled check up of fire fighting systems/equipment’s
- Conduct timely replacement/refilling of portable fire extinguishers put up at various locations.
- Develop and deploy suitable fire alarm system and its integration with the central control room.
**Fire Fighting Training**
- Conduct fire fighting drills through regular exercises, mock drills and wet drills as per Unit Disaster Management Plan
- Train security staff to be prepared for response as per Unit Disaster Management Plan
- Conduct trainings for concerned employees and contractual labour on fire standards and fire fighting techniques with 100% coverage
- Perform knowledge sharing regarding fire fighting equipment’s and techniques in GRT meetings.
**Legal Compliances**
- Fulfill all legal compliances related to fire standard and state government compliances
- Maintain records of all fire related compliances
**Liasioning**
- Coordinate with Government agencies & other units to arrange additional fire fighting resources
- Maintain good relation with local fire authorities for support
- Maintain relation with local stakeholders to provide fire services during emergencies
- Coordinate with nearby industries for support during emergencies
**SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) and Sustainability Initiatives**
- Timely conduct scheduled SO round and report accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system
- Conduct daily Tool Box Talk as per schedule and before start of any critical job, along with discussing SWP
- Actively participate in safety training, safety sub committees, standard champions meeting and any safety event
- Maintain good housekeeping, limited use of power, no leakage of water, oil, air etc of the office premises and report concerned issue for corrective action
- Ensure adherence to COVID precautions and guidelines issued by management time to time along with adherence of safety precautions on the site and off the site
- Replicate good practice for saving environment for long run sustainability and creating awareness among manpower to save guard natural resources.
**System Management and Continuous Improvement**
- Implement improvement projects for enhanced work procedures
- Submit kaizen and improvement suggestions on regular basis
- Actively participate in respective KFA & GRT meetings
**Qualifications**:
Under Graduate,Army Graduate,Post Graduate
**Minimum Experience Level**:
8-15 Years
