**JOB TITLE: CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL DESIGNER-UG**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop General Civil and UG bill of material; Prepare Layouts and detail drawings.
- 3D modeling of drainage network with paving, catch basins, all components of manholes, UG pipes, Grade Modeling, slope protection, Roads, fence, Gates, Pits, Ponds, Pipe sleeves, duct banks, Extraction of GA drawings. Development of details & Bill of material.
- 3D modeling, drawing extractions and Development of UG network & General Civil, Roads and Drains.
- Perform calculations and layouts including 2D and 3D models with adequate dimensions necessary to assist the Engineering disciplines, preparation of topographic layouts, slit trenching drawing, earthworks/excavation drawings, boreholes locations, fencing, paved roads and drainage, underground piping and foundations.
- Perform layout clash/interface checks, identify conflicts, take corrective action in coordination with other engineering discipline inputs.
- Issue engineering drawings and layouts for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC’s) coordinate with other engineering discipline in the integration of technical data inputs. Prepare final layouts and drawings integrating inputs provided by other engineering disciplines. Consult and make recommendations to Engineers on feasibility of design plans and layouts.
- Estimation and preparation of material take off’s (MTO’s), review vendor drawings, ensure vendor specifications are in full compliance with contract/ project requirements.
- Prepare Red-line markups, resolution of site queries from Construction / TQs. Preparation of detail sketches to support resolution of site. Updation of model.
- Prepare “As-Built” Drawings following completion of construction activities.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Must - ACAD, AutoCAD CIVIL 3D, S3D, PDMS and Navisworks softwares.
- Added advantage - Tekla.
- Taking Clash reports and its resolution.
- Associate degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with related petrochemical experience.
