**Job Role: Boiler Attendant**

**Position Overview**:
A Boiler Attendant is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and overall functionality of boilers in an industrial setting. They ensure that boilers are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Boiler Operation**:

- Start, stop, and monitor the operation of boilers and associated systems.
- Regulate and maintain steam pressure, temperature, and water levels.

**2. Maintenance and Repairs**:

- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep boilers in optimal condition.
- Identify and report any mechanical or operational issues.

**3. Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Regularly inspect safety valves, gauges, and other safety mechanisms.
- Maintain logs and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

**4. Water Treatment**:

- Monitor and adjust water treatment systems to prevent scaling and corrosion.
- Test boiler water for chemical composition and ensure proper water quality.

**5. Energy Efficiency**:

- Optimize boiler performance to minimize energy consumption and emissions.
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency.

**6. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of operational parameters, maintenance activities, and any incidents.
- Provide regular updates to supervisors on boiler conditions.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Certification as a Boiler Attendant (issued by the govt. authorities).
- Knowledge of boiler systems, operations, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Physical fitness to handle operational demands.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and energy management practices.

**Work Environment**:
The role may require working in shifts, including weekends or holidays, and in environments with high heat and noise levels.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
