**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years Total experience
- Minimum 3 years as Hadoop Administrator

**Responsibilities**:

- Setup and configure Hadoop Clusters
- Automation of Deployment of Hadoop components
- Maintenance of clusters including upgrades and patches
- Configure monitoring and alerting on clusters
- Provide on-call support
- Experience in Disaster Recovery and High Availability of Hadoop clusters/components
- Backup and maintenance of Hadoop metadata databases and configuration items
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues
- Scheduling of jobs using cron, Autosys, ControlM
- Managing security using Ranger
- File system management and monitoring
- Data transfer between clusters
- Good knowledge in Yarn
- Extensive experience in administering Hive databases
- Experience in coordinating with Infra teams on Hardware failures
- Help developers in tuning queries for better performance
- Work with various tea and vendor in troubleshooting the issues
- Experience with Cloudera (CDP) including migration, installation, upgrades
- Skills to review and troubleshoot various Hadoop Linux log files
- Knowledge of Java, Greenplum, Informatica, Talend, Kafka is desired and a plus

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 5 years (preferred)
- Hadoop Administrator: 3 years (required)
