Lab Incharge

Administration and management of laboratory activities to meet the requirement. Reviewing of existing test.
- Maintain Internal and External quality control procedures and maintenance of the records.
- To resolve interdepartmental issues in consultation with the senior consultant and head of divisions.
- Monitoring standards of performance and quality improvement of the laboratory services.
- Maintain all laboratory records and documents and supervise the overall functions of the lab.
- To Perform Equipment Calibration and Biochemical tests.
- To use Reagents for daily Examination activity.
- To Inform the Doctor the alert and urgent reports or critical values.
- To monitor and Implement effectively Quality Assurance Program.
- To provide adequate training to the staff to meet the needs of the lab.
- To take decisions on Maintenance and Improvements in Biochemistry Hematology, Clinical pathology and Serology field.
- Assisting Pathologist in planning and development of lab functions.
- To verification and sign the reports and maintain confidentiality of reports.
- Maintains medical laboratory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. and provides all records for training to HR
- Duty roster making once in 15 days discuss with technicians and make the duty roster get the sign of Pathologist.
- To teaching professional and technical knowledge by attending the DLT students
- Clear communication about specimen requirements, test schedule, reports delivery time must be done in proper steps to minimize confusion and delay of these services.
- To take monthly statistics of lab investigations and quality indicators given to quality manager.
- In the absence of any lab technician the duties to be shared.[Example: blood collection, to perform both automated and manual tests, test reports verification, results for typing and reports dispatch to the patient]
- Maintains lab staff results by counseling, disciplining employee, monitoring and appraising job results.
- Provides administrative support for the hospital by acting as manager on call.
- To perform all users of the lab wearing the appropriate PPE.
- To maintain biomedical waste management’s.

Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to maintain and calibrate technical equipment.

- Oral communication skills in order to work with colleagues.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
