**Job Role**:
As a Buyer specializing in general purchases with a focus on rubber items, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process efficiently and effectively. Your role encompasses vendor and logistics management, cost analysis, negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of rubber items. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality products and timely deliveries.
- Coordinate the logistics of purchased goods, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Optimize transportation and warehousing to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Analyse pricing proposals, market trends, and supplier quotations to determine the most cost-effective purchasing strategies. Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Utilize strong negotiation skills to achieve cost savings and value-added benefits.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying purchasing needs to placing orders and managing supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that purchased rubber items meet quality standards and specifications. Address any quality issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements related to rubber items. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in procurement practices.

**Educational and Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years proven experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a focus on rubber items.
- Strong understanding of vendor management, logistics principles, and cost analysis techniques.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and value-added benefits.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for sourcing, contract management, and data analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
