**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Conduct intensive research to gain an in-depth understanding of all buyer personas
- Conduct extensive research on the topic trends and consumer’s thoughts
- Craft out content pillars and sub-pillars
- Plan on the editorial calendar and proposition of content
- Work with the Content Marketing Executive, creative teams, and writers to execute the strategy
- Oversee the writing tone and style guide for all content
- Develop content governance guidelines and ensure they are met
- Conduct content audit on a periodical basis
- Track and measure content ROI
- Ensure that the content strategy achieves the business objectives

**Skills**
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Content presentation skills
- Content delivery skills
- Content monetization skills - as a content strategist, able to plan how your content can get customers to buy your product or service and thereby earn revenue.
- Multitasking and organizational skills - you will have to handle several types of projects and people regularly
- Editorial competency - you will conduct thorough audits to determine what content should be kept, edited, rewritten, and more
- Good analytical abilities to spot patterns and trends in content marketing data
- Having a keen interest in organizational goals and targets
- Attention to detail
- Leadership qualities
- Pressure handling capabilities
