Data entry: Inputting data into a database or spreadsheet from various sources, such as paper documents, using a keyboard, scanner, or optical reader
- Data verification: Reviewing data for accuracy, completeness, and discrepancies, and resolving any issues
- Data organization: Preparing, sorting, and compiling documents, and managing filing systems
- Data reporting: Generating periodic reports and evaluating and approving purchase orders
- Data retrieval: Retrieving data from databases or electronic filing systems as requested
- Data maintenance: Maintaining and updating databases as needed
