**As a Scrum Master, you must**:

- Act as a Scrum Master where needed to drive process improvements lead agile ceremonies.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Spring Planning, Backlog Maintenance, Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Demo s, Sprint Retrospectives.
- Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services.
- Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Responsible for ensuring the Scrum process is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
- Ability to successfully communicate and work with world-wide remote teams in different cultures and time zones.
- Understand current projects, business requirements and overall solutions for all department initiatives to provide support and leadership to IT teams.
- Manage each project s scope and timeline, to ensure on time delivery.
- Ensure sprint objectives are consistently met.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur during the course of a sprint.
- Work closely with other Scrum Masters in the organization to ensure alignment between scrum teams.
- Ensure best practices and documentation standards are followed by team members.
- Work with Product Owners and Product Management to ensure complete understanding of backlog items.
- Develop KPIs and other metrics to evaluate user adoption and drive operational efficiency.
- Communicate issues, solutions and plans to cross-functional teams, stakeholders, developers, and team members.

**As a Scrum Master, you must have**:

- Bachelor s degree in related field or equivalent number of years experience required.
- Certified Scrum Master Certification, CSM.
- Minimum 3 years experience post CSM certification delivering software leveraging agile methodologies.
- Experience leading software delivery teams as a Scrum Master.
- Excellent documentation, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience coaching team members.
- Superior communication skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders at all levels.
