**Job Description: ICT/Computer Teacher**

**Position Title**: ICT/Computer Teacher
**Reports To**: Principal/Head of Department

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver lessons on ICT/computer science topics such as basic computer operations, programming, digital tools, and internet safety.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning levels and styles.
- **Hands-On Learning**:

- Guide students in using various hardware and software tools.
- Supervise and support students in ICT-related projects and assignments.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage active participation and collaboration among students.
- Ensure adherence to school rules and classroom policies.
- **Assessment and Feedback**:

- Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and practical assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help improve their skills and understanding.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare progress reports.
- **Technology Integration**:

- Stay updated with emerging trends in technology and recommend tools to enrich the learning experience.
- **Collaboration and Development**:

- Work closely with fellow teachers to plan cross-curricular projects involving ICT.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to upgrade skills.
- Contribute to school events, such as exhibitions, hackathons, or coding clubs.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with a specialization in ICT/computer science is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Prior experience teaching ICT/computer science in a school setting is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of programming languages, productivity tools, and internet safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and educational technology.
