- **Job description**:_
- The Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the car wash service and supervises a team of car cleaning technicians. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, maintains operational efficiency, and enforces safety and company standards in the field. The Supervisor will report directly to the Manager and assist in achieving team and service goals._
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- **Team Supervision & Leadership**:_
- _Supervise and lead a team of car cleaning technicians, ensuring they meet quality standards and complete tasks efficiently._
- _Provide daily task assignments and monitor performance, addressing any challenges or issues that arise on-site._
- _Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating new and existing staff to ensure compliance with service and safety protocols._
- **Service Operations & Quality Control**:_
- _Ensure all car cleaning services are performed to company standards, including interior/exterior cleaning, waxing, and detailing._
- _Conduct quality checks on completed jobs to ensure consistency and satisfaction._
- _Ensure timely service delivery, keeping to scheduled appointments and handling any operational issues that may cause delays._
- **Customer Interaction**:_
- _Handle on-site customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or concerns promptly and professionally._
- _Maintain a positive relationship with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and promoting repeat business._
- **Safety & Compliance**:_
- _Ensure all technicians adhere to safety regulations and company policies, including safe chemical handling, equipment use, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)._
- _Maintain safe working conditions, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards._
- _Ensure service vehicles and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and stocked with the necessary supplies._
- **Team Performance & Reporting**:_
- _Track and assess the performance of car cleaning technicians, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement._
- _Report performance metrics, quality issues, and any team concerns to the Field Work Manager on a regular basis._
- _Participate in performance review processes and assist in creating action plans for team development._
- **Inventory & Resource Management**:_
- _Assist with the management of inventory, ensuring that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stocked and used efficiently._
- _Ensure proper management of cleaning materials to minimize waste and maintain cost-effectiveness._
- **Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement**:_
- _Identify and resolve operational challenges such as service delays, staffing issues, or equipment malfunctions._
- _Propose process improvements to enhance service delivery, team performance, and customer satisfaction._
- _Report any issues or opportunities for improvement to the Field Work Manager for further action._
- **Qualifications**:_
- **Education**:_ _High school diploma required; experience in car care, automotive services, or a related field is a plus._
- **Experience**:_
- _Minimum [3-4] years of experience in a supervisory or field service role, preferably in car wash or automotive services._
- _Proven ability to lead a team and ensure high-quality service delivery._
- **Skills**:_
- _Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills._
- _Ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment._
- _Basic knowledge of car care services, safety regulations, and inventory management._
- **Certifications**:_
- _Any relevant safety or automotive certifications are a plus._
- **Physical Demands & Work Conditions**:_
- _Occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions._
- _May require occasional overtime during busy periods or peak seasons._
