**Requirements**:
Ø Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Ø 1-4 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on electronics, semiconductors, or related components.

Ø Strong understanding of electronic components, hardware, and technology trends in the electronics industry.

Ø Skilled in negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors.

Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal collaboration and external negotiation.

**Responsibilities**:
Ø Plan and manage Company's overall sourcing strategy.

Ø Responsible to study and understand Company's operations, needs and requirements.

Ø Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers.

Ø Hard negotiation skills to set best price for the components during the design phase and negotiate pricing with cost controls.

Ø Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy.

Ø Write sourcing documentation and statements.

Ø Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices.

Ø Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations.

Ø Develop and implement co-ordination among teams to focus on effective daily communication.

Ø Work closely with the design team to understand schematic/layout/BOM design files with revision controls.

Ø Capable of identifying component details such as MPN, date code, component packages.

Ø Knowledge of electronic components
- passives (resistor, capacitor, inductors etc..), actives (IC, diodes, modules etc.,) functionality and packages.

Ø Capable of reviewing schematic, BOM, layout files in terms of correctness of the document.

Ø Knowledge on procurement activities electronic, mechanical, wiring harness components.

Ø Capable of identifying new vendors/component manufacturers to onboard as per organizational requirements.

Ø Capable of identifying equivalent components from different component manufacturers to provide flexibility in manufacturing.

Ø Should work continuously to ensure cost reduction of the product being manufactured.

Ø Capable of identifying the new components (equivalents) process for components samples and co-ordinate with design team for approval process.

Ø Regularly monitor BOM cost and ensure continuous improvement plans for achieving optimized production cost.
