Education Counselor

We are looking for a passionate and experienced **Female Education Counselor** to join our team and provide expert guidance to students and parents in their educational journey. As an **Education Counselor**, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals make informed decisions about their academic and career paths, ensuring they achieve their goals and aspirations.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Student Guidance:

- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students and their parents to understand their academic background, interests, goals, and challenges.
- Assess students' strengths, weaknesses, and aptitudes to recommend suitable academic programs, courses, and career paths.
- Provide personalized advice on educational options, universities, colleges, and training institutions based on the individual's preferences and aspirations.

2. Career Counseling:

- Administer career assessment tools and personality tests to help students identify potential career paths that align with their strengths and interests.
- Stay updated on current job market trends and industry demands to provide relevant and up-to-date career advice.
- Assist students in creating effective resumes, preparing for interviews, and developing essential job-seeking skills.

- Stay informed about the latest developments in the education sector, including changes in admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and scholarship opportunities.
- Organize and conduct informational workshops, seminars, and webinars to educate students and parents about various academic and career-related topics.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, universities, and other stakeholders to gather accurate and relevant information for students' benefit.
- Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and career advisors to align educational counseling efforts with the overall school curriculum.

6. Record Keeping:

- Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions, student profiles, and progress to track each student's development and provide appropriate follow-up.

7. Ethical Guidelines:

- Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards while handling sensitive information about students' academic, personal, and career-related matters.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an Education Counselor, Career Advisor, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of educational systems, admission processes, and career development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and educational institutions.
- Knowledge of current trends in education, job markets, and industry demands.
- Ability to empathize with students' concerns and provide guidance that considers their individual needs.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple students and their respective counseling sessions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
