- 8+ years of experience in Postgres SQL database.
- Should have hands on development and support experience in Postgres DB.
- Well versed with PL/pgSQL coding, Implement queries, stored procedures, cursors, functions & triggers.
- Should be able to translate Oracle PL/SQL constructs to Postgres PL/pgSQL
- Good understanding and knowledge of Postgres Database architecture and features.
- Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization. Should be able to tune Postgres PL/pgSQL code.
- Monitor PostgreSQL database performance issues and resolve them.
- Well versed with Data loading and validations.
- Experience in DB migrations from Oracle to Postgres is a plus.
- Good understanding of Database designs and data modelling techniques.
- Knowledge and exposure to GCP cloud infrastructure and tools.
- Ability to communicate with Onshore clients, and dependent teams.
- Should have good problem solving and communication skills with a positive can-do attitude.
- Should be proactive, requires mínimal supervision, ability to work as a team player.
