**Job Overview**:
The Cold Store Assistant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the cold storage facility. This includes checking both physical and system stock, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining the quality and safety of all stored products. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stock Management**:

- Perform regular stock checks to ensure physical stock matches system inventory.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing products in the cold storage facility.
- Ensure that all products are stored under the correct conditions to maintain quality and safety standards.
- **Inventory Monitoring**:

- Regularly update inventory records in the system, ensuring accuracy in quantities and product conditions.
- Conduct daily/weekly stock audits and report discrepancies to management.
- Assist with stock rotation, ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures are followed.
- **Product Handling**:

- Ensure products are correctly labeled and stored in the designated areas to minimize the risk of contamination or damage.
- Monitor temperatures and conditions of the cold storage units, ensuring they meet industry standards.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect products upon receipt and during storage for quality, expiry, and safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage environment by adhering to hygiene protocols.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations related to cold storage operations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate temperature logs and monitor refrigeration equipment for optimal performance.
- **Team Support & Communication**:

- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely product handling.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding stock levels, stock issues, and product-related concerns.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**:

- Basic knowledge of cold storage practices and inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items in a cold environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in cold storage environments.

**Working Conditions**:

- The position will require working in refrigerated environments.
- May involve shift work, including weekends, depending on the company's requirements.

Must have 2&4 Wheeler license

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
