Filmmaking Faculty

Teaching: The primary responsibility of a filmmaking faculty member is to teach students various aspects of filmmaking, including theory, techniques, and practical skills. This may involve leading lectures, seminars, workshops, and hands-on production classes.

Curriculum development: Faculty members often play a key role in developing and updating the curriculum for filmmaking programs. This includes designing courses, selecting textbooks and materials, and integrating new technologies and industry trends into the curriculum.

Mentoring and advising: Faculty members provide guidance and support to students, helping them navigate their academic and professional paths in the field of filmmaking. This may involve advising students on course selection, career planning, and portfolio development.

Research and scholarship: Many filmmaking faculty members are actively engaged in research and creative work in their respective fields. This may involve producing films, writing scholarly articles, presenting at conferences, and engaging in other forms of creative and academic expression.

Service and administration: Faculty members often serve on committees and participate in departmental and institutional activities. This may include serving on curriculum committees, participating in faculty meetings, and contributing to the overall governance and administration of the filmmaking program or department.

Professional development: Faculty members are expected to stay current with developments in the field of filmmaking, including new technologies, industry trends, and artistic innovations. This may involve attending conferences, participating in professional organizations, and engaging in continuing education activities.

**Salary**: ₹2,500.00 - ₹5,000.00 per day
