DIRECT REPORTS: None

WORKPLACE TYPE: Ahmedabad

SALARY (Annual base + Allowance): INR 522,000 - 700,000

The Pharma Application Lab Supervisor is responsible for operations within the Global Pharma Application lab as per the defined operating procedures ensuring that Ingredion Safety Procedures and systems are followed.

Core Responsibilities:

- Managing pre-commissioning, commissioning, erection of equipment’s within the lab
- Coordination in execution of pre-formulation studies, compatibility studies, Lab scale batches (Dispensing, parameters setting of the machines) to meet the Drug product requirements.
- Handling and maintenance of the Lab equipment and instruments.
- Experience in handling of Tablet compression machine, FBD/FBP machine and setting up the parameters.
- Able to cater minor repair of all Lab equipment’s in coordination with Engineering Team
- Coordination in cleaning verification of the equipment’s and execution of scale up batches at R&D
- Experience in setting of machine parameters of the soft gelatin encapsulation machine.
- Setting up the blister packing machine
- Coordinating with Engineering Team for Preventive maintenance and Annual maintenance of the lab equipment and instruments.
- Stability packing of Lab batches and submission for stability studies.
- MIS Management - RM/FG / Packing Material
- Undergoing periodic training as and when assigned by management.
- To undertake logistic support in terms of shipment of the customer samples, stability samples and or sample for analysis at outside testing laboratories
- Minimum Diploma in Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical
- Experience in managing operations of Lab
- English fluency, both written and spoken preferred

- Knowledge of MS Office / SAP
- Preparing Project Status Report and Management system reporting
- Influence in working with different stakeholders within a manufacturing facility within a matrix organisation
- Flexibility & Agility within the organization, working at different manufacturing sites within India
