Corra’s CODE (Creating Opportunities through Diversity & Equality) Internship Program is dedicated to offering the opportunity for diverse, underrepresented students to gain real life working experience in an award winning digital agency. Post the completion of internship program a completion certificate will be provided.

As a Intern in the CODE program, you will learn the ins and outs our business, industry and provide real project support. You will work alongside our team who will be providing you the tools, resources and guidance you will need to help you successfully navigate through your work. Work will vary in scope and in length, ranging from the day-to-day work of a Corran, to a single long-term project lasting the duration of the internship. You will be provided exposure to real design situations and solutions to prepare you for future projects and career endeavors.

At Corra interns work with different departments that accelerate their career growth. we provide every intern with both a mentor and a manager who will work to enable their success and help facilitate their career growth. These partners will provide guidance on projects, give feedback on key deliverables, and work to remove barriers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn about the ecommerce industry, analytics and professional development
- Shadow a manager and mentor to. understand the knowledge needed for each project and help meet those needs to ensure the best possible user experience is delivered
- Spark new ideas through creative thinking to meet and exceed a client's and user’s expectations
- Learn about new tools and technologies example: Jira, Mavenlink, Magento, HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.
- A capstone project to be worked on throughout the duration and presented at the end of the internship to members of Leadership Team.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Currently enrolled in a College (Bachelors or Master program), or Professional Certification program
- Pursuing a possible career in computer science
- Possess an extremely sound understanding of areas in the basic areas of Computer Science
- Beginner/Intermediate knowledge in IT Technologies.
- Passion and enthusiasm to research and learn about the industry’s latest trends and technologies
- Collaborative, motivated and an enthusiastic team player
- Organized, able to think beyond what is asked for; excellent attention to detail
- Clearly and effectively communicate
- Ability to work additional hours as needed is a plus
- Participation in school or community diversity program is a plus

DURATION & DETAILS

This is a paid internship will run for 8-12 weeks, with a minimum of 10 hours per week and a maximum of 20 hours per week required. Hours worked must fall within Monday through Friday between 9am-6pm IST.) During the COVID-19 pandemic, our interns will participate remotely; however, we require that the intern be local to the office they are assigned, as on-site work may resume should Corra’s business require when/if it is deemed safe (Note: Corra does not provide housing and no travel is required).
