- Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems for commercial online services
- Experience in design
- Experience with tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, C/C++, Objective C, Python, JavaScript) and open-source technologies (Linux, Spring, JQuery, etc)
Job summary Amazon Easy team is seeking an experienced SDE who is looking to work on complex technical problems. As a SDE on this team, you will have the opportunity to build new features for the Amazon Easy ecosystem and will have the opportunity to solve complex technical problems. As a SDE on this team, you will be expected to ramp up and work on a wide range of technologies and systems across Amazon and deliver. You will demonstrate high customer obsession and always willing to challenge status quo and look to make a difference. A day in the life Opportunity to revamp Amazon Easy product architecture Work on a highly distributed, consumer scale India focussed product Mentor junior SDEs to develop them into world class engineers About the team Amazon Easy is a program aimed to acquire customers who currently do not shop digitally. In this program we tie with small brick and mortar (mom 'n' pop) stores and help such customers to onboard to Amazon. Our customers typically reside Tier 2- cities and towns and this program is currently being run in the IN Market Place with ~100K stores onboarded successfully. We own a tech stack, which includes an independent Android Mobile App for Store Owners, a web portal for the Business Development team and Network Partners and a new payment method in the Checkout Retail flow with a large backend system of 15 Java based services.
