Essential skills and experience:
Understanding of Terraform to define and provision infrastructure resources with a special focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Using Jenkins to design, build, and maintain robust (CI/CD) pipelines.

Experience in troubleshooting pipeline issues.

Experience managing GKE cluster(s) in GCP.

Experience with Kubernetes and debugging issues

Experience with Istio service mesh and debugging issues

Experience with Github and GitOps

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Dynatrace

Knowledge of API Gateways.

Knowledge if Hashicorp Vault to manage secrets.

A passion for being a Cloud Engineer.

Experience of working as part of an agile team using agile practices and tooling such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence

Great communication skills

The ability to work in a team environment and motivate others

Nice to have:
Experience in Java, Python or any other popular programming language

Understanding of FinOps

Someone that can demonstrate in-progress learning journey towards cloud technology; accreditations (Google Cloud Associate Engineer, Cloud Architect) or further continuous development in other cloud technologies
