**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a passionate and organized **Librarian** to manage the library at our school. The librarian will be responsible for curating and maintaining a diverse collection of books, assisting students and staff with research, fostering a love for reading, and ensuring the library is a well-utilized resource for learning.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organize, catalog, and maintain library resources, including books, periodicals, digital materials, and reference collections.
- Ensure proper issuing, returning, and shelving of books.
- Provide reference and research support to students and teachers. Conduct library orientation sessions for new students and staff.
- Keep records of book inventory, damaged/lost books, and overdue books.
- Submit periodic reports on library usage and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with school management to procure new books and learning materials.
- Ensure the library remains a quiet and conducive environment for study.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc / M.Lib.Sc) or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a school library or similar environment will be preferred
- Strong organizational and cataloging skills.
- Knowledge of library management software.
- Passion for books, literature, and student engagement.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

- Day shift
