We are seeking a talented Environment Artist with a strong understanding of Unreal Engine to join our innovative team. As an Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating captivating and immersive environments and props that enhance the player experience in our projects. You will collaborate closely with our art, design, and development teams to bring our virtual worlds to life within the Unreal Engine environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create visually stunning and immersive environments, including landscapes, architecture, props, and atmospheric elements, optimized for real-time rendering in Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with the art director, level designers, and concept artists to ensure environment designs meet project requirements and vision.
- Utilize Unreal Engine's tools and features to implement dynamic lighting, materials, shaders, and effects that enhance the visual fidelity and atmosphere of environments.
- Optimize environment assets for performance and memory usage, ensuring efficient rendering on target platforms without sacrificing visual quality.
- Maintain a consistent art style and quality throughout environments, while also pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques related to environment art and Unreal Engine development.
- Work closely with programmers to integrate environment assets into the game engine, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize workflows.
- Provide feedback and mentorship to junior artists to foster their growth and development.

**Requirements**:

- Expertise in Unreal Engine, with a thorough understanding of its rendering pipeline, lighting system, material editor, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, or equivalent tools for environment creation.
- Solid understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, and mood, with the ability to create visually appealing and atmospheric environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of environment art in interactive experiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Animation, Game Design, or equivalent experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working on shipped titles or published projects in the gaming industry.
- Knowledge of additional game development disciplines such as level design, scripting, or visual effects.
- Familiarity with procedural generation techniques and tools for environment creation.
- Experience with photogrammetry or other advanced scanning techniques for realistic environment creation.
- Understanding of game design principles and player experience considerations.
