**Role**: Kubernetes Administrator

**Experience**: 8+years

**Location**:Bangalore/ Hyderabad

**Work Mode**: Hybrid (2 days WFO)

**Qualification**: BE/B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Experience in design, build and implement cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes and related technologies for us.
- Responsible for overall Kubernetes setup, configuration and Architecture.
- Configuring and maintaining/ supporting a large scale Kubernetes environment in on-prem and cloud that runs 100s of docker containers..
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Docker and kubernetes environment.
- Ensure proper operational aspects including monitoring, reporting, and backup for both Kubernetes Hosts and associated images and containers.
- Help develop and maintain automated processes, tools, and documentation in support of K8 and docker.
- Work with development teams to understand capacity and performance requirements & define a deployment solution using container orchestration tools to ensure scalable and highly available solutions.
- Write terraform code to spinup, autoscale, configure and monitor infrastructure in on-prem, AWS/GCP environments.
- Build CICD pipelines for automated deployments

**Must Have Skills**:

- Overall all 8+years of experience; out of which creating and managing production scale Kubernetes clusters, deep understanding of Kubernetes networking should be for 4+ years.
- Support our Kubernetes based projects to resolve critical and complex technical issues
- Securely managing kubernetes Cluster on at least one of the cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP cloud)
- Kubernetes core concepts
- 1. Deployment, ReplicaSet, DaemonSet, Statefulsets, Jobs.

2. Managing Kubernetes secrets o Ingress Controllers (Nginx, Istio etc) and cloud native load balancers

3. Managing Kubernetes storages (PV, PVC, Storage Classes, Provisioners)

4. Kubernetes Networking (Services, Endpoints, DNS, LoadBalancers)

5. Managing resource quotas
- Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting for Kubernetes clusters using open source monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus.
- Deeply engage with our stakeholders to understand their architecture and operations, and work to continuously improve their overall Kubernetes support experience.

**Salary**: Up to ₹2,200,000.00 per year
