Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.

**How you will contribute**

With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

**More about this role**

The open position is for a product development role in RDQ chocolate SEA, C&B innovation, and portfolio management team. As part of this team, he/she will lead or support RDQ deliverables for one or multiple projects to deliver **South East Asia **chocolate growth agenda.

**What you need to know about this position**:
Lead or support all RDQ deliverables like market survey, consumer & competition understanding, feasibility assessment, Benchmarking, Recipe costing, bench-top and pilot scale trials, through to plant trials and commercialisation.

Conducts relevant regulatory & legal compliance (FTO) checks, nutritional/wellbeing profiling and generates IDF’s from IP searches (as applicable).

Specifications creation.

Project management, report writing and timely escalation of risks as relevant. Effectively structures and presents status updates / proposals to influence partners or share with higher management.

Technical network within and outside the category and across functions such as Marketing, Procurement, Operations, Corporate Quality, etc.

A person with Graduate/Post graduate degree in Food science/Food Technology/Food Engineering/ Chemical Engg. While freshers can apply, 2-3 year of relevant experience in food industry. Knowledge of SAP-PLM is desirable.
