**About the Organization**: AROH Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to holistic rural

development in the Mon of Nagaland District. Our mission is to empower local communities,

preserve the environment, and improve livelihoods through sustainable development initiatives.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join us as Village Resource Persons

(VRPs) to support our grassroots efforts in rural development in the Mon. The VRPs will serve as

intermediaries between the community and our organization, facilitating communication,

engagement, and collaboration on various development projects and initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Community Engagement**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, leaders, and

stakeholders in assigned villages.
- Facilitate community meetings, discussions, and participatory decision-making

processes.
- Identify community needs, priorities, and aspirations, and communicate them to the

organization.

2. **Project Implementation**:

- Assist in the implementation of development projects and activities in collaboration

with project staff and community members.
- Mobilize community participation and support for project initiatives, including

organizing work crews, events, and workshops.

3. **Capacity Building**:

- Provide training and capacity-building support to community members on relevant

topics, such as sustainable agriculture, health and hygiene, education, and

livelihoods.
- Foster a culture of self-reliance, empowerment, and ownership among community

members.

4. **Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Collect data and information on project activities, progress, and impact in assigned

villages.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating project outcomes and performance indicators.
- Prepare reports, case studies, and success stories highlighting project achievements

and community contributions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training

in community development, rural studies, or related fields is desirable.
- Prior experience working with rural communities or in community development projects is

preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with

diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for rural development and a commitment to improving the lives of marginalized

communities.
- Familiarity with the local language, culture, and context of the Mon is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and

initiative.
- Access to transportation and willingness to travel within assigned villages as required.
