Key Responsibilities:

- **Teaching**: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum guidelines and school policies.
- **Curriculum Development**: Develop and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools that meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- **Student Assessment**: Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- **Classroom Management**: Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for learning.
- **Professional Development**: Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops, conferences, and peer observations, to stay current with best practices in English education.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student learning and address any academic or behavioral issues.
- **Extracurricular Activities**: Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as literary clubs, school events, and competitions, that enhance the English curriculum.
- **Communication**: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, school events, and any issues that may arise.
- **Adherence to Policies**: Follow all school policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to student discipline, health and safety, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is mandatory.
- **Certification**: Valid teaching certification or licensure as required by the state or governing educational authority.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience in English at the middle or high school level.
- **Skills**: Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, and composition. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to use various teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ahmednagar, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
