**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instruction and Curriculum Development**:

- Utilize various teaching methods, including hands-on activities, technology, and group work to enhance student learning.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe and valued.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess students’ musical abilities and progress through regular observation, assignments, and performance.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of students’ development.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Organize and direct school choirs, bands, or other musical ensembles.
- Plan and oversee musical performances, concerts, and events for the school community.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to integrate music into the broader school curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress and participation in music activities.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in music education.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license in [State].
- Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in playing multiple musical instruments.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and music history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young students.
