Blind Installer

**Technical Skills**
- **Measurement Skills**:

- Accurately measure windows for different types of blinds (inside/outside mount).
- Understanding of imperial and metric systems.
- **Tool Handling**:

- Proficiency with hand and power tools (drill, screwdriver, level, tape measure, etc.).
- Ability to use ladders and safely work at heights.
- **Installation Techniques**:

- Knowledge of installing various types of blinds: vertical, horizontal, roller, Venetian, Roman, etc.
- Ability to drill into different surfaces (drywall, wood, concrete, tile).
- **Reading Instructions & Layouts**:

- Ability to read and interpret product manuals, schematics, and work orders.

**Physical Abilities**
- **Manual Dexterity**:

- Good hand-eye coordination for precise installation.
- **Strength and Stamina**:

- Ability to lift and carry blinds and equipment.
- Standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.

**Soft Skills**
- **Attention to Detail**:

- Ensures blinds are level, straight, and securely fastened.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Can adapt to unusual window sizes or conditions.
- **Customer Service**:

- Professional interaction with clients during home or office visits.
- Ability to explain product features or maintenance tips.
- **Time Management**:

- Efficiently manage time between multiple installations.

**Other Useful Skills/Requirements**
- **Basic Carpentry** or handyman skills.
- **Understanding of safety protocols**.
- **Experience or training** in blind or curtain fitting (may be preferred by some employers)
