About Lam ResearchLam Research is a leading global manufacturer of capital equipment used in making leading edge semiconductors across the world. We primarily compete in four specific areas deposition, etch, photoresist strip, and single wafer clean. Lam Research India team is organized into three major areas of responsibility: Hardware, Software, and Operations. We have an open position in the Hardware group. The Hardware group designs subassemblies and subsystems for Lam’s product lines, providing innovation for the next-generation products, providing improvements in cost and reliability. In Hardware group, mechanical engineers, simulation analysts, electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and supplier quality engineers contribute to designing and improving Lam’s products.
- Job Responsibilities- Responsible for creating and maintaining complex part/assembly layouts as per the Bill of Materials.
- Collaborate with product development engineers in implementing part changes on assembly.
- Consult with product group to interpret configuration changes on assembly build and collaborate with internal & external cross-functional teams for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Accountable for delivering on time with quality as per key performance indicators, as well as consistent improvement in efficiency.
- Responsible for working in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities while being a team player.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in various fabrication methods (Sheet metal & Machining)
- Knowledge of welding symbols, GD&T symbols, Surface finish, etc.
- Knowledge and exposure to ANSI, ASME, AWS, ISO, and SEMI standards applicable to the semiconductor industry.
- Knowledge of MS Office software like MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint
- Exposure to Semiconductor industry-related Engineering activities.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience Or Diploma in Mechanical/Tool & Die making with 5 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in building & maintaining large assemblies based on design intent in Unigraphics-NX
- Experience in running interference analysis & expertise in creating arrangements using Unigraphics-NX
- Expert in troubleshooting complex CAD/design layout problems
- Expert in creating lightweight models like Linked Exterior, Assembly Representation in Unigraphics-NX
- Knowledge of Unigraphics-NX routing - Mechanical and Electrical
- Experience working with Team Center & Knowledge in Engineering Change Management, SAP & PLM.
