Junior Interior Designer

**Job Title**:Junior Designer (Modular Furniture Industry)

**Location**:Shirkes Platino Series, CREATICITY, Ishanya Mall Rd, Shastrinagar, Yerawada, Pune, Maharashtra 411006

**Salary Range**: 15,000 - 20,000 INR per annum

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture

2+ years of experience in the modular furniture industry

Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp software

Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and space planning

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

As a Junior Designer in the modular furniture industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development process of furniture solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
**1. Design Development**: Assist senior designers in conceptualizing and developing furniture designs based on client requirements and project specifications.

Create detailed drawings, renderings, and 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchUp software.

Collaborate with the design team to explore various design options and solutions.

**2. Technical Drawings**:Prepare technical drawings, plans, and elevations for production purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.

Coordinate with the production team to communicate design specifications and resolve any technical issues that may arise during manufacturing.

**3. Material Selection**: Research and recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for furniture projects based on design aesthetics, functionality, and budget considerations.

Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, material suppliers, and product innovations.

**4. Client Interaction**: Participate in client meetings to understand their design preferences, requirements, and feedback.

Present design concepts, drawings, and samples to clients in a clear and professional manner.

**5. Project Coordination**: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution from design development to installation.

Coordinate with external vendors and subcontractors as needed to procure materials and services for projects.

**6. Quality Assurance**:Conduct quality checks on design drawings and prototypes to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.

Address any design-related issues or concerns identified during the production and installation phases.

**7. Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of design projects, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.

Generate progress reports and updates for project managers and senior leadership as required.

**8. Continuous Learning and Development**: Stay updated on industry trends, design software advancements, and best practices through training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

**9. Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures**: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and client data.

**10. Miscellaneous Tasks**: Assist with other design-related tasks and projects as assigned by senior management.
