A kitchen or service department trainee's responsibilities may include:

- **Food preparation**Preparing meals, ensuring food is of high quality, and assisting with the preparation of major meals
- **Kitchen maintenance**Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy
- **Food storage**Ensuring food is stored and disposed of correctly, and monitoring the temperature of fridges, freezers, and hot cabinets
- **Record keeping**Maintaining accurate records as directed by the chef
- **Assisting with service**Assisting with dishing, serving, and cleaning work areas and utensils
- **Helping with other tasks**Assisting with other tasks as assigned by the chef, such as collecting items from the main kitchen
- **Ensuring cleanliness**Ensuring the kitchen is clean and safe, and that all kitchen sanitation standards are met
- **Communicating**Communicating with management, chefs, and service staff to address any issues or needs
- **Following procedures**Following all company, division, and department procedures and policies, as well as all health and safety regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ₹8,000.00 per month
