Job Description

Designation/Role Title: Manager/Sr Manager - Instructional Design Work Group: Digital Studio Location: Noida, India Required Skills Functional Must demonstrate well developed: • written communication skills in US English • visualization skills • conceptualisation skills and creativity • attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • ability to convert instructional content into engaging interactive concepts Behavioural • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at the same time • Must be resourceful and comfortable working with fuzzy briefs and tight deadlines • Ability to work with cross functional teams and influence them • Strong team player Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with subject matter experts and specialist editors for content creation and review. • Script instructional content, assessments, and microcopy for solutions keeping in mind learner profile, delivery medium, and technology requirements. This may include, video, audio and interactive media. • Work closely with the design and programming teams to brainstorm ideas and help translate them into solutions • Manage instructional design tasks on content development projects independently. • Handle a team of onsite or remote-working writers to execute projects • Help manage client expectations on projects Experience MPS Interactive Systems For Internal Circulation Only • Eight to ten years’ experience in an instructional design and scripting role with a focus on digital learning solutions in K-12 Science and/or Math • At least five years’ experience working on digital content solutions for US-based publishers in the K-12 space • Must have designed and scripted a variety of interactive solutions, incl. games, gamification, simulations, interactive videos, virtual labs, etc. • Should have worked closely with SMEs and editorial teams to develop instructionally-sound scripts • Should have worked closely with design, media production, UI/X, technology, and other teams on the production of high-quality content solution
