About Businessline/Function: Job Title: Functional Tester - New execution platform Date: Department: Products Division **Location**: Chennai Business Line / Function: Wealth Management / WMIS Hub Reports to: (Direct) Products Division BA/Tester Chapter Lead Grade: (if applicable) (Functional) Domain Test Manager Number of Direct Reports: n/a Directorship / Registration: NA **POSITION PURPOSE**: **Responsibilities** **DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Understanding of structured test methods and processes - Test delivery (Functional test, System integration tests, Regression tests, user sign-off, test progress dashboard, test complete report) - UAT tests support process - Strong in manual functional testing - Automated Test experiences is an added advantage As BNP Paribas Employee: - Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan - Comply with regulatory requirements and internal code of conduct **TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES**: **EXPERIENCE**: - Bachelor’s Degree or above - 7+ years of overall experience as Test Analyst - 5+ years in banking industry **Mandatory skills** - Investment Banking or Private Banking is Mandatory - Experience with end to end systems testing is mandatory - Proficient in test life cycle- Manual Functional testing with various techniques- Integration testing with Stubs and Drivers- System Integration testing- End to End testing- Hands-on experience in writing test cases for complex projects, test data preparation and test execution. - Hands-on experience in writing test cases using technical specification documents. - Test cases optimization to achieve coverage and quality - Proficient in using Quality Center/ HP- ALM **Specific Qualifications **(Nice to Have) - Hands on experience of Unix commands - DB queries is a strong plus **Skills Referential** Behavioural Skills: (Please select up to 4 skills) Personal Impact / Ability to influence Ability to deliver / Results driven Client focused Creativity & Innovation / Problem solving Transversal Skills: (Please select up to 5 skills) Analytical Ability Ability to develop and adapt a process Ability to understand, explain and support change Choose an item.
