Job Title: Pet Bottle Mould Designer
- Job Summary
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Design and Development: Design and develop moulds for pet bottles using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar.
- 2. Mould Design Optimization: Optimize mould designs for efficient production, mínimal waste, and high-quality products.
- 3. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with production, quality, and sales teams to ensure mould designs meet customer requirements and production needs.
- 4. Mould Testing and Validation: Test and validate mould designs to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- 5. Design Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- 6. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and implement improvements to mould design processes and techniques.
- Requirements
- 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mould design, preferably in the plastics industry.
- 3. CAD Skills: Proficient in CAD software, such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar.
- 4. Mould Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of mould design principles, including mould layout, cooling systems, and ejection systems.
- 5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- 6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design issues and develop effective solutions.
- Nice to Have
- 1. Experience with Mould Simulation Software: Experience with mould simulation software, such as Moldflow or similar.
- 2. Knowledge of Injection Moulding Processes: Knowledge of injection moulding processes, including material selection, moulding conditions, and quality control.
- 3. Certifications or Training: Certifications or training in mould design, CAD software, or related fields.
