**Position Overview**:
Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) is currently looking for an **Experienced Computing Architect (Computing Architect - General)** to join the team in **Bangalore, India.**

The Advanced Service Development team in IT&DA Enterprise Architecture is looking for talented and motivated Computing Architects for a team that conducts industry based early research and executes proofs of concept to demonstrate the potential of technology to meet emerging Boeing business needs.

The goal of this role is to be part of a team that conduct hands on technology evaluations/proofs of concept to identify IT and related technologies that will provide a step function change in capabilities to the Boeing enterprise.

The Computing Architect will work with Boeing IT resources across a global Boeing team to understand business requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs. The architect will be part of the team that engages vendors to understand capabilities, assess feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives, perform trade-off analyses, and evaluate integration into delivery system environments.

This architect will be an innovator for the company who remains open to new ideas, detects trends and embraces continuous learning by putting new knowledge to use.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Perform industry based early research into emerging digital technologies and author technology briefs for use throughout the enterprise
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to plan and execute proof of concept activities associated to emerging technologies.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to prepare emerging technology advanced insertion into the enterprise.
- Participate and lead conversations with technology vendors in partnership with Indirect Supply Chain.
- Leverage your curiosity and passion for technology to stay informed on emerging technology trends.
- Design and recommend appropriate IT architectures for emerging technologies using architecture principles
- Support, lead, and collaboratively improve agile tools and techniques used to drive and prioritize work.
