Scope of RoleEngineer is involved in the design and development of new product and providing design solutions as per client requir ements. He is responsible for requirements study, feasibility check, creating concepts / layouts and 3D models, 3D annotation, 2D Drawings, Data Release in TC, Change ManagementArea of Responsibility'¢ Create concept design / layouts / alternate designs / do the design calculations'¢ Create 3D models'¢ Generate 2D drawings and 3D annotation'¢ BOM Creation and Data management in Team Center'¢ Creation of technical documents as directed by TL's'¢ Adherence to all quality parameters and process as required by organization a s well as client requirements'¢ Prepare technical presentations for assigned tasks'¢ Communicate with peers / onsite team / customer on regular basis or as per project need'¢ Attend review meetings / conference calls with (peers / onsite team / customer) and provi de the inputs for meeting as requested by TL / Module lead / Onsite coordinator'¢ Participate in knowledge sharing and training sess ions'¢ Document the best practices, preferred work procedures and get it validated by team leader'¢ Ensure on time delivery with req uired quality level'¢ Timely update the work status to technical lead / customer / Onsite coordinator'¢ Participate in idea generati on to improve the productivity, processes '¢ Participate actively in acquisition of patents and publishing technical papers in their area of work'¢ Onsite support to client if required Knowledge / Experience '“ 2+ YearsEssential:'¢ Hands on experience in design o r integration of at least one and preferably more in BIW Structure, Underbody '“ Front End. Front Floor, Rear Floor assembly Upperbody, Sealing, '¢ Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing r equirements, '¢ Good communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels'¢ Liaise with Cross functional team, P eers'¢ PC Literacy: Power Point, Excel, Word etc'¢ CAD Literacy: Ability to generate parametric CAD data and Master sections in CATI A V5'¢ Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.Qualification: '¢ Minimum BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
